Step into a pivotal leadership role overseeing emergency department operations on an interim basis. This opportunity calls for a seasoned Registered Nurse who excels in high-pressure environments and possesses a strong background in emergency services management.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 40 hours guaranteed each week

Key Requirements:

  • Active California RN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum five years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting
  • At least two years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within an ER
  • TB clearance completed within the last 12 months

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the emergency department
  • Lead, support, and mentor ER nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, safety procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, and ancillary teams to promote seamless patient flow
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation within the department
  • Provide guidance and crisis management during emergent situations
