Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Trumansburg, New York

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room or similar acute care environment
• Proficient in emergency procedures, triage, and rapid patient assessment
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress situations

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position; flexible scheduling may be available based on unit needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Triage and prioritize incoming patients in alignment with established emergency protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs and responses to treatment
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families regarding care, discharge planning, and follow-up procedures
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control policies
