Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience in an emergency setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications (PALS and TNCC preferred)
- Proficient in emergency protocols, triage, and crisis intervention
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the ER staff on assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to established care protocols
- Administer nursing care to patients experiencing medical emergencies and acute conditions
- Delegate assignments and provide mentorship to nursing personnel
- Participate in rapid assessments, coordinate with physicians, and facilitate communication among care teams
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Uphold safety measures and infection control procedures
- Act as a resource for clinical decision-making and patient advocacy
