Key Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Proven experience in an emergency room (ER) setting
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in nursing
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care in the emergency room, utilizing advanced assessment and triage skills
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety
  • Coordinate workflows, support resource allocation, and facilitate effective communication among team members
  • Participate in incident response, rapid response, and emergency protocols as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for both patients and nursing staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes
