Supervisor (RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Two Harbors, Minnesota

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Previous experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred
• Strong decision-making and crisis management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts with rotating weekends and holidays as necessary

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER setting
• Triage and assess emergency patients, initiating appropriate interventions
• Lead and support the ER nursing team, ensuring smooth operations during each shift
• Collaborate closely with physicians, ancillary staff, and administration to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust individualized care plans as needed
• Oversee documentation to meet regulatory and hospital standards
• Mentor and assist ER nurses, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and safety initiatives within the department
