Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong triage and assessment abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful and urgent situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective patient care in the ER, monitoring and responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Complete thorough assessments, prioritize care, and implement interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses comprehensively and accurately
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and quality standards
