Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Valdosta, GA

Schedule:

• 8-week contract assignment
• Night shifts: 3x12 hours (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
• Every other weekend required (Fri-Sun)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating may occur, including to designated COVID units

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license (Georgia or compact state) in hand
• 2+ years recent experience in ER setting
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIH – all current and in-hand at time of submission
• EPIC charting experience required
• TNCC certification required
• Open to first-time travelers, though prior travel experience is preferred
• Preferred experience: Level I trauma center, ventilated patients, triage

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Deliver proficient, compassionate care to patients of all ages presenting with a broad range of emergencies (DKA, COPD, stroke, chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatric cases, and more)
• Adapt quickly to changes in patient conditions and unit demands
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as the facility transitions its trauma designation
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed
