Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Vilas, CO

As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering patient care using the full nursing process, ensuring each patient receives high-quality attention during urgent and often complex situations.

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Proven experience in emergency room settings or acute care is highly preferred
• Strong assessment, care planning, and communication skills
• Ability to act quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with electronic health records and essential medical equipment

Core Responsibilities:

• Continually assess patients’ physical and psychosocial condition throughout care
• Develop individual care plans, engaging both patients’ families and the healthcare team
• Execute provider interventions and adjust plans as necessary based on patient response
• Thoroughly document care activities and assessments using both manual and automated systems
• Communicate care plans and any significant changes to the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to deliver seamless care
• Provide education based on assessed learning needs to patients, families, students, and colleagues
• Practice cost-effective supply and equipment management, making recommendations for improvement
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and PPE protocols
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities
