Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment—flexible weekly hours, variable shifts depending on current department needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess, prioritize, and treat diverse patient presentations in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent, patient-centered care.
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform life-saving interventions as necessary.
• Document all care thoroughly, maintaining accuracy in electronic medical records.
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families during stressful circumstances.
• Ensure compliance with current protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid RN license, eligible for Virginia practice.
• Recent Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical competency, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Effective communicator and adaptive team player.
