Professional growth is at the heart of this opportunity, working in a Level 1 Trauma center and teaching hospital. You’ll be immersed in diverse clinical approaches, interacting with dedicated teams of healthcare professionals, and managing a wide spectrum of urgent medical conditions. Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
  • Flexible 6-week schedule cycle
  • 5-6 weekend shifts per 12 scheduled shifts
  • No on-call requirement
  • Holiday rotation: one major holiday shift per cycle

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Basic Cardiac Rhythm (EKG competency upon onboarding)
  • National emergency nursing certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience with critical drips and Level 1 Trauma protocols

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert emergency care for diverse patient conditions including trauma, cardiology, diabetes, mental health, and more
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes hospitalists, intensivists, 24/7 respiratory therapy, and unit support
  • Operate advanced equipment such as EPIC EMR, Phillips monitors, and rapid infusers
  • Engage in effective communication and teamwork to optimize patient outcomes and departmental workflow
