(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Warren, Michigan

Experience dynamic, fast-paced nursing care in an emergency room setting. This position offers a 13-week engagement with potential for extension, providing an excellent opportunity to utilize and expand your clinical expertise.

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• No block scheduling
• No on-call shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Active State of Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Emergency Room RN
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Flexibility and calm under pressure in a high-acuity environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, delivering prompt and thorough nursing interventions for patients of all acuities
• Triage and prioritize patient care efficiently and accurately
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed; ensure timely documentation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Support, educate, and comfort patients and their families during critical situations
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and quality measures
