(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Warren, Michigan

Seeking a Registered Nurse with emergency room expertise to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers a 13-week initial term with the possibility of extension, allowing you to utilize your ER skills and experience. Nurse candidates meeting the requirements below are encouraged to apply and participate in a streamlined phone interview conducted directly by the hiring manager.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Night shifts: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Mid shifts: Variable, typically 2:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
• No block scheduling
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Active State of Michigan RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and ability to work well in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Triage and prioritize patients based on acuity and protocols
• Collaborate efficiently with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform assessments and interpret diagnostic results
• Document all aspects of care accurately and timely
• Provide support and education to patients and families during critical situations

$1,924 - $2,105/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
