Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Warwick, RI

Experienced emergency room nurses are sought for an important role providing patient care in a fast-paced setting. This contract spans 13 weeks with shifts available for 36 or 48 hours per week, all during nights, and no on-call duties required. The start dates are 9/28 or 10/12, with orientation offered every other weekend, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Key qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license, valid for RI or through compact states
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent Level One Trauma Center experience is essential
• Strong understanding of evidence-based emergency room protocols and practices
• Proficient in rapid triage, crisis intervention, and collaborative interdisciplinary care

Schedule:

• Night shifts (36 or 48 hours per week)
• No on-call requirements

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care for emergency department patients across all acuity levels
• Quickly and accurately assess patient conditions, prioritizing care in a Level One facility environment
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to best practice and physician instructions
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation and communication within the care team
