This contract opportunity is specifically for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in Emergency Room and Pediatric ER environments. Schedule:
- Three night shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Flexibility for department needs; block scheduling not available
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications (must be obtained prior to start)
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in an ER setting within a high-volume hospital (over 100,000 ED visits/year)
- Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center experience
- Strong teamwork skills; ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
- Flexibility to work in all sections of the ED, including pediatric care
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation system and GE monitors
- Adherence to a navy scrubs dress code
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy 101-bed emergency department
- Ensure patient ratios typically 4:1, with adaptability for behavioral health scenarios
- Participate in cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal processing alongside techs and support staff
- Engage patients and families according to AIDET principles and maintain updated patient boards
- Float within all ED sections as needed to ensure continuity of care
- Respect all hospital and department guidelines; uphold a culture of safety and excellence

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
