Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with current standing
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
  • Proficient clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • Triage and assess patients arriving in the emergency department
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing patient care plans
  • Administer medications, initiate IVs, and conduct procedures as needed within scope of practice
  • Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment accurately
  • Provide support and education to patients and families during high-stress episodes
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
