(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | West Bloomfield, Michigan

An exciting contract opportunity is now available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Emergency Room care. Nurses in this role will deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency department setting. This position offers a 13-week assignment, with the potential to extend, providing an excellent experience for those seeking to expand their expertise.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Block scheduling not available
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the State of Michigan
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred
• At least one year of recent Emergency Room RN experience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care within the Emergency Room, adhering to evidence-based practices and facility protocols
• Quickly assess, triage, and manage acute cases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform rapid physical assessments, initiate emergency interventions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
• Document all care provided, and maintain accurate patient records
• Serve as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical skills and certifications
