(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | West Chester, Ohio

An exciting opportunity is available for skilled registered nurses with strong experience in emergency nursing. This contract role calls for RN professionals who thrive in fast-paced ER settings, ideally with background in Level I Trauma Centers. As part of a dedicated emergency team, you will provide responsive, quality care and play a crucial part in supporting patients during critical moments.

Schedule:

• 5 nights per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center required
• BLS and ACLS certification (current and valid)
• Ability to perform calmly under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations
• Compliance with a 75-mile radius rule for applicants
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care, closely monitoring patients and responding swiftly to their needs
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following physician orders and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff in managing patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously in a high-volume environment
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps
