Qualifications:
- Active RN license (compact or state-specific, as required)
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Emergency Room nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and TNCC preferred
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and perform effective triage in accordance with emergency protocols
- Administer medications, initiate IVs, and manage medical equipment
- Assist physicians with procedures and monitor patient status
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during crises
- Document all interventions, medications, and observations accurately in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, providing education and support as needed
