Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in West Hartford, CT

Schedule / Hours:

• 7:00 pm – 7:30 am shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation

Qualifications / Experience:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing
• Ability to manage both ED and Inpatient Hold RN ratios and acuity
• Strong assessment skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, efficient care to emergency department and inpatient hold patients
• Manage patient assignments with fluctuating acuity and volume levels
• Triage, assess, and implement treatment plans according to protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and report changes in patient status promptly
