(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Whitesboro, New York

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an ER Registered Nurse
• Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure with multiple priorities
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required; additional certifications (such as PALS or TNCC) are a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid assessments of patient conditions in the emergency department
• Administer medications, wound care, and lifesaving interventions as needed
• Accurately document patient care and progress
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide clear communication and support to patients and families during stressful situations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
