Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Whitesboro, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience working in an Emergency Room environment
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); TNCC and PALS preferred
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and patient acuity

Primary Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patient responses, promptly documenting and communicating changes in condition
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and family members during stressful situations
• Collaborate with ER staff, physicians, and support personnel to deliver quality, coordinated care
• Uphold all safety, infection control, and compliance standards
