Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Whittier, CA

Experienced registered nurses with a background in emergency room care are invited to work in a dynamic setting dedicated to patient-focused service. Schedule/Hours:

• Evening shifts
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• No holiday requests for time off will be approved

Desired Qualifications:

• Current California RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department setting
• Proven proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize with strong critical-thinking and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity emergency environment, assessing patient needs and responding to rapidly changing conditions
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and document all aspects of care accurately using the Epic system
• Collaborate with ER team colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and family members during critical times
• Maintain compliance with all hospital regulations, licensure requirements, and evidence-based nursing practices

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
