Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Woonsocket, RI

A rewarding opportunity is open for a skilled registered nurse with Emergency Room expertise to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment on a contract basis. You'll play a vital role in assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients experiencing trauma, illnesses, or injuries while collaborating with experienced interdisciplinary teams.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active Rhode Island RN license (unrestricted)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) credential
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) completed
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patient care needs
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and initiate treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with providers and colleagues to execute care plans efficiently
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergent and life-threatening situations
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, procedures, and discharge instructions

Contract Details:

• 13-week assignment
• Start dates available: 11/23, 12/7, or 12/21 (with every-other-week orientation schedule)

$2,211 - $2,419/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
