Step into a key surgical role providing critical support as an RN First Assist for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an outstanding opportunity to apply your clinical expertise and technical skills in the operating room, working alongside surgeons to impact patient outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 6:45am – 5:15pm
• No call required

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of California
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an RN First Assist
• Proven ability to assist with a variety of surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of perioperative protocols and sterile technique
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Provide direct support to surgeons by handling instruments, suturing incisions, and controlling bleeding as a First Assist
• Monitor patients’ responses to surgical interventions, adjusting care as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety protocols
• Contribute to a smooth workflow and efficient operating room environment
• Participate in patient assessments and post-operative care planning

$4,637 - $4,888/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
