Role Details:

This First Assist nursing assignment offers the chance to collaborate with innovative care teams and gain valuable experience across a range of workplace environments. Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (PA)
• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Compliance with PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73
• RN First Assist experience (minimum of 2 years required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• 2 years of hands-on RN experience required

Responsibilities:

• Provide first assist support during surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons and perioperative staff
• Ensure optimal patient safety and care through all preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team
• Uphold rigorous standards for infection control, patient confidentiality, and hospital policy compliance
