Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license (Pennsylvania)
• BSN preferred
• Minimum of two years’ First Assist experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 compliance
• Strong surgical and patient care knowledge
• Commitment to continuous learning and growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert First Assist support in surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare, position, and closely monitor patients during procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Accurately document interventions and observations
• Support patient education and recovery planning
