Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Certification as a First Assist (CRNFA or CNOR preferred)
- At least two years of recent RN First Assist experience in surgical settings
- Proficiency in assisting surgeons across a range of procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assistance to surgeons during procedures, including tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, and suturing
- Ensure patient safety and surgical asepsis throughout operative care
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team, circulating, and scrub nurses to support optimal outcomes
- Document intraoperative care accurately and promptly according to facility policies
- Participate in preoperative planning and postoperative care as needed
- Maintain knowledge of current best practices and protocols in perioperative nursing

$3,370 - $3,686/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
