Critical Care Nurse in Adairsville, GA

Deliver exceptional care in an Intensive Care Unit setting by utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse. This contract role is an excellent opportunity to provide critical support to patients and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation
• Approximately 70% of holidays
• Occasional on-call shifts if census is low, though this is uncommon

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with experience in ICU or critical care environments
• Demonstrated skill in handling complex and rapidly changing patient scenarios
• Ability and willingness to float across all med-surg and critical care areas, including providing care for ED boarders
• Proficient in documentation, assessment, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients
• Maintain accurate records and clear communication with patients’ families and healthcare members
• Adapt to floating assignments among ICU, ER, med-surg, and other critical care areas as needed
• Participate in weekend and holiday staffing rotations
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in on-call duties if necessary
