Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN licensure in California required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication abilities

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; specific schedule details provided during hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coordinated, holistic nursing care for ICU patients, adhering to established protocols and the nursing process
  • Collect and analyze patient data to assess health conditions, inform diagnoses, and direct care plans
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, patients, families, and the entire healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and effective care
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to nursing staff and support personnel as appropriate
  • Engage in patient and family education activities, promoting health literacy and continuity of care
  • Contribute to discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions across care settings
  • Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives as assigned
