Travel Supervisor ICU RN - Arcata, California

This travel nursing role is designed for a supervisor experienced in critical care settings. You'll work closely with diverse interdisciplinary teams, adapt to different clinical workflows, and refine your leadership abilities—adding invaluable new perspectives to your resume. Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Day and Night positions available
• 36 hours per week guaranteed

Key Qualifications:

• Active California RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification mandatory; NRP preferred
• Supervisory experience, particularly in ICU and acute care environments
• Ability to float to ER, ICU, and Med/Surg to cover meal period breaks
• Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months of start date

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site supervisory oversight for assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operation and coordination between units
• Support clinical teams by covering critical areas and meal breaks, floating as needed
• Uphold high standards for patient safety and care quality across the ER, ICU, and Med/Surg units
• Address and resolve staffing or clinical challenges as they arise
• Foster open communication and team collaboration throughout the hospital
