Critical Care Nurse in Arcata, CA

Deliver advanced, compassionate care in an Intensive Care Unit setting as a skilled RN for a contract opportunity. Schedule & Hours:

• 7:00 pm – 7:30 am (Night shift)
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 hours per week guaranteed

Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience working in ICU settings strongly preferred
• Ability to furnish proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start
• Strong assessment skills and expertise in critical patient care
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to ICU patients
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate personalized care plans
• Recognize and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and conduct detailed patient assessments
• Maintain accurate charting and thorough documentation
• Provide empathetic support and education to patients and their families
