ICU RN - Birmingham, AL

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Alabama or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years' recent nursing experience in ICU or CVICU
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in using electronic health records
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Compassionate and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in intensive care and cardiovascular ICU units
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for critically ill patients
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure safe transitions of care and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control standards
