ICU RN - Black Hawk, South Dakota

Step into a pivotal role providing expert care for critically ill patients in a dynamic intensive care unit environment. This position requires a compassionate and exceptionally skilled Registered Nurse with ICU expertise. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver advanced patient care and ensure optimal outcomes for those requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, managing patients with complex, acute medical needs.
• Advanced assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with ventilators, hemodynamic monitors, and other ICU-specific equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an emphasis on patient safety and advocacy.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct bedside care for patients with life-threatening conditions, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and responding to emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Provide support and education to patients’ families, addressing concerns and guiding them through the critical care process.
• Adhere to all nursing standards, facility protocols, and infection control guidelines.
• Participate actively in unit meetings and ongoing professional development activities.

$2,025 - $2,203/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
