Experienced critical care nurses are sought to deliver top-quality patient care in a dynamic intensive care environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work 36 hours per week, with a day/night rotating schedule that includes weekend and holiday coverage.

Hours/Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Day/night rotating shifts
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
  • Ability to adapt rapidly to new protocols and environments
  • Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Administer medications, manage ventilators, and operate specialized equipment
  • Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, responding promptly to changes
  • Document all care and interventions accurately in the medical record
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care processes
  • Uphold best practices in infection control and safety at all times
  • Participate actively in unit-based and facility-wide quality initiatives
