Critical Care Registered Nurse | Box Elder, South Dakota

Seeking experienced nurses to deliver high-quality care within busy ICU and PCU units. Multiple positions are available, primarily for 12-hour night shifts in the ICU, with some openings for day shifts in the PCU. This role is well suited for professionals confident in critical care who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Schedule:

• Most ICU shifts are 12-hour nights
• Select PCU shifts available during the day

Qualifications:

• Active South Dakota RN license or compact/multistate nursing license required
• Background in ICU nursing; additional PCU experience a plus
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Excellent communication and adaptability in high-pressure scenarios

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices
• Monitor and document vital signs, changes in patient status, and interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and operate specialized life support equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a safe and clean work environment
• Support families and loved ones by providing education and updates on patient progress
