Deliver exceptional care in a dynamic critical care environment, utilizing your expertise in intensive care nursing. This contract role calls for a Registered Nurse skilled in ICU settings to provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Balanced split of day and night shifts (50/50)
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient or current ICU nursing experience
- At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying shifts and patient needs
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, responding rapidly to changing conditions
- Administer medications, manage advanced life support equipment, and implement individualized care plans
- Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing care requirements
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and accreditation standards
