A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU expertise to provide compassionate acute care support in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role offers a balanced schedule and the chance to deliver crucial care to patients with complex needs.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Equal split: day and night shifts
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent acute care inpatient experience or current ICU experience
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive care for critically ill adult patients
  • Monitor vital signs and manage complex medical equipment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate, deliver, and evaluate patient-centered care
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in compliance with best practices and hospital policy
  • Educate and support patients and their families during hospitalization and recovery
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and timely
  • Participate actively in emergency responses and support code events as needed
