Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with eligibility to practice
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in an ICU setting preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications a plus)
  • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficient in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and advanced life support procedures
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill patients
  • Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and patient progress
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to create and implement treatment plans
  • Safely administer medications, monitor IV infusions, and manage advanced medical equipment
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
