Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients as an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care. This opportunity focuses on supporting patient recovery and stability, drawing on advanced clinical expertise in a dynamic ICU environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, assess, and document the condition of critically ill patients, promptly recognizing and responding to changes.
- Administer medications, manage complex equipment, and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during periods of acute illness.
- Adhere to rigorous infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards at all times.
- Participate in shift handoffs, communicate vital information clearly, and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure and eligibility to practice.
- Previous ICU nursing experience required, with excellent critical thinking and crisis management skills.
- Proficiency with ventilators, titration of vasoactive medications, and advanced life support techniques.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and engage in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
