This contract opportunity is based in Cleveland, OH, offering focused care to patients in a 19-bed unit that manages acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-surgical cases requiring advanced neurological monitoring.

Responsibilities include performing invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, conducting frequent neurological assessments, and managing hemodynamic parameters. The role also involves routine use of diagnostic imaging such as CT, MRI, and angiography to guide patient care. You will work with patient-to-nurse ratios of 2-3:1 and may be required to support other ICU or step-down units as part of your clinical duties.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with current credentials
  • Demonstrated experience in a Neuro ICU setting
  • Proficient in neurological monitoring and hemodynamic management
  • Ability to perform frequent detailed neurological assessments
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic critical care environment and adapting to needs across multiple units

Schedule:

  • Weekend block schedule (every Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
