Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible contract assignment
  • Rotating shifts and weekends may be required

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid, unencumbered RN license with ICU specialization
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in an ICU setting
  • Proficiency in critical care protocols, medication administration, and rapid-response procedures
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to handle high-acuity situations with confidence
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage care for critically ill patients, including comprehensive assessment and rapid intervention
  • Administer medications, infusions, and interventions per physician orders and protocols
  • Operate and interpret data from ICU monitoring equipment
  • Document patient status and responses accurately in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their loved ones
