Critical Care Registered Nurse - Columbia City, Indiana

Experienced RNs with a background in Intensive Care are invited to make a significant clinical impact by providing essential support and expertise to critically ill patients. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license required
• Proven experience in an ICU setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active status)
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations
• Capability to handle high-acuity cases with professionalism and composure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to ICU patients, constantly monitoring and evaluating changing conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced therapies per established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, recovery, and ongoing care needs
• Accurately document care activities, assessments, and patient responses in the EHR
• Participate actively in code situations, rapid response calls, and other urgent interventions
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and uphold best practices in infection prevention
