Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Previous ICU or acute care facility experience desired
  • Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and delegate tasks across a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze patient assessment data, determining diagnosis and care priorities
  • Develop and implement patient care plans with clear interventions to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Evaluate progress toward care goals, adjusting plans as needed for best results
  • Foster effective collaboration with fellow nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals
  • Provide direct health information, education, and support to patients and families
  • Contribute to safe and humane care environments and participate actively in discharge planning
  • Provide learning opportunities for patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Delegate appropriately and oversee duties of other healthcare personnel
