Critical Care Registered Nurse - Cortland, New York

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour night shifts

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• At least one year of recent ICU experience, preferably in a high-acuity setting
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong clinical assessment, intervention, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-stress environment with excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex, rapidly changing conditions
• Administer medications, titrate drips, manage life-support equipment, and monitor vital signs
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver evidence-based interventions
• Document all care activities thoroughly in the electronic medical record
• Provide education, comfort, and emotional support to patients and their families
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety practices, and regulatory standards
