This travel nursing opportunity in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) places you directly at the forefront of critical care, managing adult patients requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions. The 8-bed, high-acuity CICU sees patients transferred from the Cath Lab, Emergency Department, and acute care areas, ensuring exposure to a dynamic patient population and the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams dedicated to achieving the best outcomes. Role Details:
- Shifts: 36 or 48 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays as required
- Flexibility to float to additional units and hospitals
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Nursing (required)
- Active Alabama RN or compact state license (no temp licenses); Nursys verification
- AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, and AHA NIH certifications (required; will accept Red Cross equivalents)
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience (2 years preferred), with at least 1 year of recent ICU experience
- PALS certification beneficial if assigned to pediatric units
