Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication abilities
• Skilled in managing ventilators, IV drips, and other ICU-specific equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively under pressure with physicians and allied health staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, closely monitoring vital signs and rapidly responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and implement physician-ordered treatments, documenting accurately and thoroughly
• Operate advanced monitoring equipment and manage life-support systems as dictated by patient needs
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families during treatment, providing updates and answering questions with empathy
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory standards within the unit
