ICU RN - Dallas, TX

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating 12-hour shifts
• Some weekends and holidays required

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Adaptable to evolving patient care needs and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough nursing assessments and implement evidence-based critical care plans
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, EKGs, and diagnostic results for rapid response to changes in patient condition
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced life support equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps
• Safely administer medications, titrate drips, and manage complex IV therapies
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Complete accurate documentation according to regulatory standards and facility policy
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
