Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 pm – 7:30 am shifts
- Every third weekend coverage
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license for Iowa (or compact state)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an ICU setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt to new settings and follow evolving procedures
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop care plans
- Administer medications, manage life-support equipment, and respond to emergencies
- Engage with patients’ families to provide updates and support
