Schedule:

  • Weekly Monday orientations

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, eligible to practice without restrictions
  • Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Competence in using EMR systems and adhering to Joint Commission standards

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients
  • Respond promptly to patient status changes and provide rapid stabilization
  • Administer medications, infusions, and advanced therapies accurately
  • Monitor vital signs, lab results, and ventilator settings, intervening as necessary
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans
  • Document all interventions, observations, and patient responses precisely
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment while adhering to hospital protocols
  • Support quality improvement initiatives within the ICU
