Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekly Monday orientations

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with current registration in an eligible state
  • At least one year recent experience in ICU nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in the ICU, monitoring for changes in condition and responding rapidly to emergent needs
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and the wider interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced life-support equipment
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with facility protocols
  • Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery processes, fostering a supportive care environment
