Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with current registration in an eligible state
- At least one year recent experience in ICU nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in the ICU, monitoring for changes in condition and responding rapidly to emergent needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the wider interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced life-support equipment
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with facility protocols
- Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery processes, fostering a supportive care environment
