Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; shifts and durations based on facility needs

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and standard ICU charting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient status and significant changes
  • Administer medications, infusions, and life-support interventions per clinical protocols
  • Respond rapidly to emergencies and support the implementation of care plans
  • Provide compassionate communication and education to patients and families
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, safety standards, and facility policies
