Critical Care Nurse in Edwards, CO

Seeking a skilled registered nurse to deliver attentive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This contract opportunity requires clinical expertise and strong critical thinking skills to support individuals experiencing acute and complex health challenges.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of best practices in intensive care
• Proficient in patient monitoring, ventilator management, and rapid response protocols
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and make timely clinical decisions

Primary Duties:

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and document observations clearly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care planning
• Administer medications and manage intravenous lines as prescribed
• Support and educate family members regarding patient status and care needs
• Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient condition
