ICU RN - Elko, NV

Provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit setting located in Elko, NV. This contract opportunity allows experienced Registered Nurses with a specialty in ICU to apply their expertise in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring constant monitoring and advanced intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critical care patients, implementing evidence-based nursing practices.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and maintain accurate patient records.
• Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and perform necessary interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, recovery processes, and health maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with specialization or significant experience in ICU nursing.
• Proven ability to manage the complexity of critical care patients.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
